ROLLER KILNS

ER series

It is a laboratory roller kiln with which it is possible to simulate the cooking cycles of a continuous industrial oven.

The machine is conceived, designed and built to be used to test the physical-mechanical characteristics of pieces or samples, in the sector of ceramic and similar materials. The structure of this oven is in steel painted with epoxy paints and is thermally insulated with ceramic fiber and refractory bricks with a low density coefficient. Depending on the model, the heating system consists of both spiral-wound Kanthal-type wire resistors and silicon carbide resistors, allowing these ovens to operate up to a maximum temperature of 1330 ° C.

Depending on the various models, the oven includes areas with different characteristics, namely:

  • smoke entry and evacuation area
  • preheating area
  • cooking zone
  • cooling zone
