ROTARY TUBULAR LABORATORY KILN
Mod. TOR/TORS A laboratory kiln which consists of a tube which rotates around its own shaft with an adjustable speed and at an adjustable inclination.
The powdery or granular material to be treated, is introduced at the top end of the rotating tube and in function of the rotating speed of the tube and its inclination, passes through the tube and leaves it at the bottom end.
The firing cycles depend on the inclination of the tube and its rotating speed.
This kiln is constructed of stove-enameled steel and thermally insulated with ceramic fibre material.
The kiln is provided with a control panel with an instrument on which the firing temperature is set and a speed regulator for the tube through which passes the material to be fired. It is also provided with a manual regulator of the inclination of the rotating tube.
Model TOR-OP/TORS-OP: These models have a gas sealing system at the inlet and the outlet of the kiln and are provided with a possibility for the introduction of an inert gas,
THE CREATION OF A REDUCING ATMOSPHERE at the inside of the tube,
the collection of the treated material and a chimney to capture the gas.
Optional: Steel tube for a max. working temperature of 1100°C with an inner ceramic tube.
Optional: The possibility to add firing zones to a maximum of 3 in total.
Optional: Porthole to inspect the inside of the rotating tube, provided with lighting.
Optional: Thermocouple with digital indication of the temperature in the inside of the rotating tube.
Optional: Material sampling system by means of a rotary valve at the lower part of the chimney.
Optional: Knife scraper at the inside of the tube.
