ELECTRIC KILNS Series 200 – 212 – 213

A kiln with intermittent function, built to run thermal firing cycles with materials that do not produce toxic gases and that suit the maximum working temperature of the kiln itself.

The bottom of the kiln consists of an extractable car on which the material to be fired, is put.

Once filled completely, it is moved into the kiln, with which it then forms a unit.

The car is provided with vulcolan wheels and it must be located on a perfectly flat floor with no superficial imperfections as these might create problems for its movement and the stability of the material placed on the car.

The kiln is provided with two cars.

The structure of the kiln is made of steel, stove enameled with epoxy paints and its thermal insulation consists of low density refractory bricks and ceramic fibre, suitable for the indicated working temperature.

 

The heating elements are made of Kanthal–type wire and mounted on supports.

They are easily exchangeable.

 

The firing cycle is controlled by a control panel with a micro-processor based programmer model PKP-ERO with which it is possible to program up to a maximum of 200 steps in a temperature/time ratio, that can be memorized in one or more programs and to control the uniformity of the temperature between the top, the middle and the bottom of thekiln.

 

The door of the kiln is of the “rocking arm” type, made of stainless steel AISI 316 for the parts that are most susceptible to wear.

 

Uniformity of temperature +- 3°C.

 

As these kilns are equipped with an electronic controller for the uniformity of the temperature, they can also be used at much lower temperatures for the firing of glass, copper etc.
